Bioenergy for the Future

Marie-Hélène Labrie, Senior Vice President, Government Affairs and Communications, Enerkem, has been invited to speak at the Bioenergy for the Future event hosted by the International Energy Agency (IEA) and Mission Innovation at 3:30 PM on November 27th at the Fairmont Château Laurier in Ottawa, Canada.
Mrs. Labrie’s presentation is entitled ‘Enerkem: Success in Scaling Up Biofuels Production’ and aims to enlighten attendees on Enerkem’s path from early-stage development to commercial-scale capacity.
The Bioenergy for the Future event will highlight the public release of the IEA Technology Roadmap on Bioenergy. This roadmap provides modeling and scenario analysis confirming that bioenergy can make a significant contribution to the carbon savings required by to address climate change. In partnership with IEA, Mission Innovation aims to reinvigorate and accelerate global clean energy innovation with the objective to make clean energy widely affordable.
