As Vice President, Human Resources and Organizational Development, Benoît Grenier is responsible for architecting and deploying Enerkem’s human capital plans and related strategies.
With over 25 years of experience, Mr. Grenier possesses a unique blend of corporate HR and management consulting background, more specifically in manufacturing, energy and resources, financial services and public sector. Throughout his career, Mr. Grenier has built and grown world-class HR organizations and consultancies, while delivering innovative solutions to a wide range of companies in North America and Europe. He held several corporate HR leadership positions, namely at Bombardier Aerospace and Bombardier Transportation in Europe, Pratt & Whitney Canada and General Motors of Canada. Before joining Enerkem, he was a partner and national practice leader with Mercer where he headed the Canadian Leadership and Organization Performance consulting business, as well as the Rewards consulting business for Eastern Canada. He also served as Senior Manager for Deloitte's Human Capital consulting practice in Quebec.
Mr. Grenier has contributed as a regular university lecturer, author and speaker to the advancement of professional expertise in the fields of operations management, workforce planning and analytics, people strategy, international HR management, HR governance and effectiveness, as well as culture change.
Mr. Grenier holds an MBA in international business management from HEC Montreal, a Master's degree in European administration from the College of Europe in Bruges, Belgium, and a Bachelor’s degree in international relations from the University of Montreal.
