Written by Enerkem | Dec 7, 2010

“Enerkem is thrilled to be recognized again this year as one of the 50 Hottest Companies in Bioenergy. The jump from last year’s spot reflects Enerkem’s achievements this past year as a first-mover in the waste-to-ethanol market, as well as its sound business strategy, proven technology and strong team dedicated to the company’s success,” said Vincent Chornet, President and Chief Executive Officer of Enerkem. “We would like to thank all of our supporters and voters who helped the company achieve this ranking.”

This year, in addition to this recognition from Biofuels Digest, Enerkem was also named a 2010 Global Cleantech 100 Company by the Cleantech Group. Its co-founders, Esteban and Vincent Chornet, were individually ranked 10th in the Top 100 People in Bioenergy, also organized by Biofuels Digest.
