Alejandro Oliva Rivas

Alejandro Oliva Rivas joined Enerkem’s Board of Directors in September 2025.

Mr. Oliva Rivas is the Business Development Director of the Downstream Division at Repsol, where he leads renewables and circular new business development, as well as scenario planning.

Since joining Repsol in 2003, he has held senior roles across the organisation—including Strategy & Business Development Director in the Chemicals & Materials division, as well as Corporate Strategy & Planning Director of Repsol’s Group. He has served on boards and leadership committees within Repsol’s Downstream businesses, including the Dynasol Group, and has contributed to the Ecoplanta initiative in Tarragona.

Alejandro Oliva Rivas holds a degree in Chemical Engineering from the Universidad de Salamanca, a degree in Industrial Management Engineering from ICAI (Universidad Pontificia Comillas), and a Master’s in Economy & Management from ISE–IESE Business School (Madrid).
