This recognition is a testament to Enerkem's consistent dedication to pioneering sustainable solutions in the bioenergy sector and our innovative approach, which has solidified our position as an industry leader in environmental stewardship.
Sky’s the Limit Challenge Winner
Enerkem captures a remarkable victory as the project leader alongside CRB Innovations, emerging as the standout choice among four finalists in "The Sky's the Limit Challenge," hosted by Natural Resources Canada and assessed by an independent panel of international aviation experts. This award underscores our groundbreaking achievement in producing sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) from forest biomass carbon. The resulting biogenic fuel will contribute to a 93% reduction in GHGs from air transport per unit of fossil fuel replaced by SAF.

Vincent Chornet receives the Clean16 Sustainability Award
Vincent Chornet, Enerkem's CEO, is named a 2017 Clean16 Honouree, receiving the Clean16 Sustainability Award from Delta Management Group and the Clean50 organization. Vincent Chornet, Cofounder, President, and CEO at Enerkem, and Tim Cesarek, Senior Vice President Business Development at Enerkem, rank 22nd on the Biofuels Digest's Top 125 People in the Advanced Bioeconomy 2015 list.
