David Lynch, Enerkem’s General Manager, R&D, will be speaking at the “BioPlastics: The Re-Invention of Plastics via Renewable Chemicals” conference in Miami, FL.
The last 5-10 years have witnessed the spirit of innovation in the field of chemicals/polymers in a manner similar to the one during 1930’s to 1960’s that led to the mighty plastics industry.
A number of renewable chemicals have emerged in the last five years with potential to making the traditional polymers as well as opening the path for newer materials from renewable food, especially non-food biomass as opposed to petrochemicals.
