In another year of sustained growth in 2014, the Canadian clean technology industry continued to demonstrate the stamina, grit and determination that have enabled it to achieve some impressive industry performance statistics:
- Canadian clean technology companies contribute to an industry that invested over $1 billion in R&D in 2012, and $5 billion from 2008-2012.

- Enerkem is part of an industry that has created 41,100 new jobs across Canada, jobs that grew at a rate of 6 percent from 2010 to 2012 - 200 percent faster than the national average.
