2018 Bio-Based World News Awards

Enerkem has won at the 2018 Bio-Based World News Awards in the “Best use of alternative feedstocks” category. After a two month process, a panel of independent industry expert judges carefully deliberated and decided the shortlist and winners.

Anton de Vries, Corporate Director at Enerkem received the award on behalf of Enerkem at World Bio Markets 2018, one of the most important annual events in the bioeconomy, held in Amsterdam.

“We are very pleased and proud to be the Award Winner of Best Use of Alternative Feedstocks. We have come a very long way from Waste-to-Chemicals technology development to commercial deployment stage today. It is now ready to make a substantial contribution to eliminate a global waste issue and at the same time making a substantial contribution to GHG savings” Anton de Vries, Corporate Director at Enerkem.
