Alex Miles

Head of Global Commercialization

Alex Miles leads the development and management of Enerkem’s portfolio of proprietary projects across Europe, North America and globally. 

With over 15 years of experience in renewable and sustainable infrastructure, Alex brings deep expertise and an extensive track record in project development, site identification, commercial structuring, and securing both equity investment and debt financing. He has worked across the entire spectrum of renewable energy, including waste gasification, onshore wind, solar, landfill gas and hydro generation.

Prior to joining Enerkem, Alex worked for Novera Energy and Biossence, before helping to found AGR Renewables. He also worked as a consultant for the London Waste and Recycling Board and Falck Renewables. Alex started his career working at Bridgewell, a boutique investment bank focused on advising a range of small and medium-sized public and private companies.

Alex Miles holds a Master of Engineering in Engineering, Economics & Management from the University of Oxford.
