Luc J. Messier

Luc J. Messier joined Enerkem in 2022 and is leading the operations of the company, including IT, engineering, project management, project execution and supply chain.
From 2015 to 2022, he was President of Reus Technologies LLC, a Houston (TX) based company focused on investment and development of technology companies.
For more than twenty years, he has worked at a high level in large multinational companies. From 2007 to 2015, he was Senior Vice President of Global Project Development and Procurement at ConocoPhillips, a US multinational energy and petrochemical company.
From 2003 to 2007, he was Chief Executive Officer of Technip USA, one of the world's largest engineering and construction companies. Based in Houston,he managed all North American operations of the company with over 1,200 employees.
At Bouygues (1993 to 2003), he led major transportation infrastructure projects in Hong Kong, South Africa and Mozambique. He was also CEO of Bouygues Construction's Hong Kong subsidiary. At Pomerleau Inc. (1988 to 1993), he held command positions on several major projects in Quebec, including LG-1 and the Alouette and Reynolds smelters in Sept-Îles and Baie-Comeau respectively.
He currently serves on the boards of Sodexo, Bird Construction and Greenfield Holdings.
Mr. Messier holds a degree in civil engineering from the University of Sherbrooke.
