François R. Roy

Corporate Director

François R. Roy joined the Enerkem Board of Directors in August 2019.

M. Roy has extensive experience as a corporate director and executive in the private and public sectors, at non-profit organizations and in academia. Most notably, he was Vice-Principal, Administration and Chief Financial Officer at McGill University from 2007 to 2010. Prior to that, he worked for large media organizations, first as Executive Vice-President and Chief Financial Officer at Québecor Inc. for 10 years, then as Chief Financial Officer at Télémedia Corporation.

He has been a corporate director since 1998 and sits on the boards of Transcontinental, Noranda Income Fund, CBC/Radio-Canada and the Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec, where he has served as a director since 2009.

François R. Roy holds a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Toronto.
