Charles Tremblay

Vice president, Project Delivery & Managing Director, DevCo

Charles Tremblay is responsible for the development and execution of projects involving Enerkem's technology, from planning to delivery to the client, including the financing structure. He also leads the company’s DevCo (project development) strategy.

Charles has over 30 years of experience in management, strategy and business development in the waste industry with extensive operational and financial expertise.

Prior to joining Enerkem in 2018, he has managed over 20 business acquisitions to create an integrated waste management group in Canada, moving from 2 to 1000 employees. He also consolidated the various environmental subsidiaries of the Suez group in Quebec by centralizing administrative services and rationalizing non-contributing activities.

Charles Tremblay holds a degree in mechanical engineering from École Polytechnique de Montréal.
