Jean-François Nolet

Jean-François Nolet joined Enerkem in 2022. He is responsible for government relations, internal and external communications, regulations and ESG.
Mr. Nolet brings more than 15 years of experience in renewable energy and climate-related issues. Between 2008 and 2021, he held various positions at the Canadian Renewable Energy Association (CanREA), including Vice President, Public Policy, Government and Public Affairs. In this capacity, he played a key role in the development of public and regulatory policies favourable to the support and establishment of the wind, solar and energy storage industries in Canada. A renowned strategist, he has worked throughout his career in developing and implementing government relations and public affairs strategies on energy and climate issues at the national and international level.
Mr. Nolet holds a B.A. in Political Science from McGill University and studied at École nationale d’administration publique in Montreal. He currently serves on the board of Nergica, Switch Alliance, the Conseil des entreprises en technologies environnementales du Québec (CETEQ) and Advanced Biofuels Canada.
